摘　　要：作为国民教育系列的高等学历继续教育,为成年人提供了进一步学习和提升自身技能的机会,帮助其适应不断变化的社会和经济环境,为国家培养了大量的人才,促进了学习型社会的发展,为终身学习时代的到来打下了坚实的基础。而作为高等学历继续教育实施的主体之一,各级开放大学也面临着越来越多的挑战。因此需要挖掘开放大学继续教育高质量发展的新内涵,进一步提高开放大学的竞争力和吸引力。As a series of national education,continuing education with higher academic qualifications provides opportunities for adults to further learn and upgrade their skills,helps them adapt to the ever-changing social and economic environment,cultivates a large number of talents for the country,promotes the development of a learning society,and lays a solid foundation for the arrival of the era of lifelong learning.As one of the main bodies of higher education,open universities at all levels are also facing more and more challenges.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the new connotation of the high-quality development of continuing education in the open university and further improve its competitiveness and attractiveness.
