摘 要:我国家族企业渐进式的职业化变革受到家族主义文化观念的深刻影响。本文考察了家族主义文化对家族企业职业经理人离职继任选择的影响。研究表明:家族主义文化越浓厚,职业经理人离职后企业越倾向于重新聘回家族经理人,且优先家庭核心圈层成员;职业经理人任期内代理成本高或处于非高技术行业环境的家族企业,家族主义文化更容易驱使企业重回家族化治理模式。进一步研究发现,正式制度在家族主义文化与职业经理人离职继任关系中起到抑制作用,这意味着正式制度与非正式制度在影响职业经理人离职继任中存在一定的替代作用。本文研究结论为理解我国家族企业治理模式提供了新的经验证据。As the mainstay of economic development in China,family businesses are facing an important moment of transition to high-quality development.The new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation objectively put forward higher requirements for the standards of family business successors,and the selection and recruitment standards established by kinship seem to be inadequate.Therefore,more and more family businesses are gradually getting rid of the old model of family holding and controlling,and actively adopting the professional manager system.However,the introduction of professional managers is not the end of the professionalization path of family businesses,but a new starting point.The gradual professionalization reform of family busi-nesses in China is deeply influenced by the cultural concept of familism.In view of the heterogeneity and dynamic nature of profes-sionalization reform of family businesses,this article intends to explore the impact of familism culture,an important characteristic of family businesses,on the succession of professional managers’turnovers.This article uses the China regional data of the World Values Survey,selects the sample of A-share listed family businesses from 2008 to 2019,and takes the family culture as the entry point to explore the impact of family culture on the succession of professional man-agers’turnovers.The research found that the stronger the familism culture is,after professional managers’turnovers,enterprises tend to re-employ the family managers,and the successors who return to the family governance tend to give priority to the family core circle members.Further research found that Family enterprises with high agency costs or in non-high-tech industry,the succession choice of professional managers’turnovers is more vulnerable to the influence of familism culture.In addition,this article found that formal institutions play a inhibitory role in the relationship between family culture and the departure succession of career managers,that is,there
