摘  要:转喻认知作为同一认知领域内的内部映射模型,秉承的是实体之间的邻近原则,为解析语言替代现象提供了坚实的理论基础。航运英语缩略语利用转喻认知,通过首字母缩写和词语缩略的构词法来实现指代功能。同时,将源域中具有凸显作用的缩略语作为语义参照的认知点,借助转喻思维映射模型及源域语境唤醒缩略语在目的域中的意义,能够有效完成航运英语缩略语转喻意义的搭建。单义缩略语对语境的依赖性不高,仅借助转喻思维即可独立完成含义表达;多义缩略语的语义还原还需语境的支持才能完成。Metonymic cognition,as an internal mapping model within the same cognitive domain,adheres to the principle of proximity between entities,providing a solid theoretical basis for the analysis of the phenomenon of linguistic substitution.Using metonymic cognition,through the constructions of acronyms and word abbreviations,shipping English abbreviations realize their referential function.Meanwhile,the construction of metonymic meaning of shipping English abbreviations can be effectively accomplished by taking the abbreviations in the source domain as the cognitive point of semantic reference,and awakening their meaning in the destination domain with the help of the metonymic thinking mapping model and the source domain context.Monosemantic abbreviations rely less on context and can independently convey meaning with the help of metonymic thinking;the semantic reconstruction of multisemantic abbreviations,on the other hand,requires contextual support to be completed.
