唐代社会“别宅置妇”现象探微

摘　　要：唐代“别宅置妇”盛行,朝廷屡次颁布禁令,此风气仍未能改善。“别宅妇”的存在受诸多因素影响,家庭内部夫妻关系不和是极为重要的成因。“别宅置妇”现象的实质是在唐朝悍妻妒妇普遍存在的社会环境中,丈夫一方调节家庭关系以及试图恢复传统一夫一妻多妾制的表现形式之一。唐朝政府试图通过禁令来调整这一现象的努力,尽管短期内没有见效,但却符合社会主流观念。In the Tang Dynasty,“keeping the mistress in another house”was prevalent,which was banned repeatedly by the imperial court but without any improvement.There were many factors resulting in it,among which the disharmonious husband-wife relationship was particularly prominent.In essence,the phenomenon is a manifestation of the husband’s adjustment of family relations and attempt to restore the monogamy with multiple concubines,in the social environment where bossy and jealous wives were prevalent in the Tang Dynasty.Besides,the Tang government attempted to adjust this phenomenon by prohibition,which was not effective in the short term,but conformed to the development trend of social mainstream concepts.
