摘　　要：“心智阅读”这一术语最早是用在算命术中,后来又被哲学家们使用,接着又被用于大众心理学。随着认知科学的发展,“心智阅读”成为认知心理学研究的重要对象。“心智阅读”这个术语也渐渐渗入认知文学领域,成为文学跨学科研究的关键词。然而,尽管文学中的“心智阅读”与其他领域的这一术语有相关性,但并不能等同起来看待,论文将从术语演变过程切入,对文学领域的“心智阅读”的实质进行探究。“心智阅读”在文学批评领域的含义,在一定程度上超越了其他学科赋予它的含义,形成了独立的“文学心智阅读”。The terminology"mindreading"was initially used in fortune-telling and later adopted by philosophers and then it fared its way well into folk psychology.With the development of cognitive science,"mindreading"has evolved into an important issue of cognitive psychological studies.The term"mindreading"has infiltrated gradually into the area of cognitive literary studies,becoming a keyword of interdisciplinary studies in literature.However,"mindreading"in literature has closely related to the same word used in other branches of knowledge notwithstanding,it cannot be construed as being equal.This paper,starting with the evolution of the terminology,explores the essence of mindreading in literature.The meaning of"mindreading"in the field of literary criticism,to a certain extent,surpasses the meaning given to it by other disciplines,and forms an independent"literary mindreading".
