The Legend of“King Gesar”is a classic Tibetan heroic epic, which has a lot of narrative plots related to a diet, showing various characteristics of the original Tibetan diet.In terms of the concept,“the law of the jungle”is the core performance of Gesar’s diet:food is the most basic energy supply for the heroes who have been fighting for years;the starvation and food scrambling are important factors to trigger wars;the food competition is the glorious identity of heroes, etc. In the use of language, food is regarded as a dialogue and becomes an internalized narrative rhetoric. As for the relationship between the god and man, food has built a spiritual link between the god and man.In the words of epic war,the battlefield as the“cannibalism field”has become the ruins of human order, and“cannibalism”has broken through the limit, reflecting the power of conquests and the loss of humanity. The epic“King Gesar”is set against the background of war,and its food narrative extends from arms and swords to deduce a different food style.
