接受美学视域下寻根小说《马桥词典》的英译探析

摘　　要：以韩少功的寻根小说《马桥词典》及蓝诗玲的英译本A Dictionary of Maqiao为研究对象,在接受美学理论指导下分析其语言特色,并探讨译者在应对读者的期待视野和文本中的未定点时采用的翻译方法。译者在翻译过程中采取直译加意译、直译加释义、韵律翻译、删译等翻译方法,结合包含内文本和外文本的副文本辅助信息,遵循对作品中审美未定点信息具体化的原则,最大限度地在英译本中再现原文语言文化特色,有效对等地传达原文中的审美因素。Based on the original and English versions(by Julia Lovell)of Han Shaogong’s root-seeking novel A Dictionary of Maqiao,this thesis analyzes its linguistic characteristics and explores how the translator deals with the readers’horizon of expectation and the indeterminacy in the text under the guidance of reception aesthetics.It is found that in the process of translation,the translator adopts such translation methods as literal translation plus free translation,literal translation plus interpretation,deletion,metrical translation etc..In addition,assistant information of paratext which includes peritext and epitext and following the principle of concretizing the indeterminacy in the original text represent features of language and culture to the maximum extent,transmitting the original aesthetic factors effectively and equivalently.
