摘 要:作为形式语义学的传统议题,全称量化的跨语言差异一直以来都是一个研究热点。在探讨全称量化的界定标准和英汉差异的基础上,本文提出:1)与英语全称量化的形式较为凝练不同,汉语全称量化结构存在一对多的分布态势,往往受到事件域的限制;2)汉语全称量化结构中经常出现的“都”可以对应英语全称量词的强化用法,本质上也是一个强化词;3)基于量化三分结构,将事件量化引入个体量化,可以建构英汉全称量化结构语义模型。这一模型不仅可以合理阐释全称量化内部的差异,更能诠释英汉全称量化的共性和个性,进一步凸显全称量化研究的类型学意义。The cross-linguistic differences in universal quantification,a traditional topic in formal semantics,have been extensively studied.After examining the criterion of defining universal quantification and the linguistic data between English and Chinese,it is argued that 1)unlike the compactness of English universal quantifications,the corresponding ones in Chinese exhibit the diversified one-to-many distribution,which is usually restricted by the event domain;2)the frequent occurrence of dou in Chinese universal quantification,on a par with intensification use of English universal quantifier like all,is inherently an intensifier;eventually,3)a unified semantic model of universal quantifications in English and Chinese,relying on the tripartite structure of quantification,is proposed by combining event quantification with individual quantification,which could not only elucidate the compositionality of the structure,but also address the similarities and differences between English and Chinese,further highlighting the typological significance of the study.
