OBJECTIVE:This study aims to investigate the effects of Spiro-tiger rehabilitation training on the pulmonary function and airway repair of adolescent middle-and long-distance runners with exercise-induced asthma.A comparative analysis of the control group and experimental group undergoing different rehabilitation training processes revealed the following results:(1)Spiro-tiger rehabilitation training demonstrated significant advantages in airway remodeling, pulmonary function, and blood gas indicators.(2)After a 9-week Spiro-tiger rehabilitation training, the observation group exhibited a marked decrease in airway inflammation mediators, significant improvement in pulmonary function indicators, and beneficial alterations in blood gas indicators.(3)In comparison to traditional rehabilitation training,Spiro-tiger rehabilitation training proved more effective in enhancing airway health and pulmonary function in adolescent middle-and long-distance runners with exercise-induced asthma.Based on these findings,it is recommended that coaches prioritize Spiro-tiger rehabilitation training as the primary method for managing exercise-induced asthma in adolescents, and devise personalized rehabilitation plans to cater to individual patient needs.
