摘 要:本研究采用自定步速阅读选择任务,考察中国大学生对Wh-问句的在线加工。研究结果显示:介入效应显著影响学习者对Wh-问句的加工效率。与其他条件问句相比,Which N宾语问句的加工准确度最低,加工时间最长。这是因为Which N宾语问句中包含了与Which N结构相同的名词短语,该短语介入了Which N和其移位后留下的空位之间,影响了受试对该结构的加工效率。此外,二语学习者对主语Wh-问句的加工还受Wh-疑问词短语集合限制的影响。本研究进一步揭示了中国学习者Wh-问句的输入加工机制,完善了二语习得领域对疑问句的习得和加工研究。本研究结果对确定疑问句教学的重难点和干预方法具有指导意义。This study investigates the input processing of English Wh-questions by Chinese college students using a self-paced reading comprehension task.The results indicate that the intervention effect significantly impacts learners’processing efficiency of Wh-questions.Object-extracted Which N questions are answered less accurately and result in slower response times due to the presence of an intervener(a lexical noun phrase)between the displaced Which N phrase and its gap site,compared to other types of questions.Additionally,set-restriction also affects the processing of subject-extracted Wh-questions.This study sheds further light on the input processing mechanism of Wh-questions by Chinese EFL learners and contributes to research on the acquisition and processing of Wh-questions in the field of SLA.The research results have significant implications for identifying the key and difficult points as well as intervention methods,for Wh-question instruction.
