传神达意观照下张大千画论英译研究

摘  要:张大千是中国现当代画坛上极负盛名的国画大师,艺术成就斐然。他还在长期艺术实践的基础上提出了内涵丰富的绘画理论。文章借助汪榕培“传神达意”的翻译学说,从字词、句子、修辞等方面初步探讨了“传神达意”在张大千画论英译当中的应用,旨在通过这种途径将中华传统文化孕育的具有中国特色的优秀绘画理论传播出去。ZHANG Daqian,with remarkable artistic achievements,is a renowned master of traditional Chinese painting in modern and contemporary Chinese art.In addition to his artistic creations,ZHANG proposed a profound theory of painting based on his long-term artistic practice.Translation is to convey the meaning in its full flavor,which is the translation thought proposed by WANG Rongpei(1994).It is adopted in this study,and is preliminarily applied to the English translation of ZHANG’s painting theory from the levels of words,sentences,and rhetorical devices.The aim is to,via the thought,spread the painting theory with Chinese characteristics nurtured by traditional Chinese culture.
