摘　　要：中国与印度是当今世界仅有的人口数量超过10亿的超级大国,当代中印关系集大国关系、邻国关系、发展中国家关系、多边舞台重要角色于一体。印度发展简史和当代中印关系史是当代中印关系发展的历史基础,当今世界的发展形势和安全互信的现实问题是当代中印关系发展的现实基础,实现各自国家现代化是当代中印关系发展的根本利益,支持各自国家现代化进程是中印领导人达成的共识。当代中印关系发展从历史和现实基础出发,运用大国关系、邻国关系、发展中国家关系、多边外交舞台等多种外交资源构建更加紧密的发展伙伴关系,朝着实现各自现代化的根本利益的共识目标奋进,上谋世界大势,中谋双边关系,下谋社稷民生。China and India are only two states with large population more than 1 billion.Contemporary Sino-India relation is about a group of factors like great power relation,neighbor relation,developing coutries relation,and the like.The historical basis for contemporary Sion-India relation is Indian history and the development of the relation itself,while the curret basis is modern world development situation and real issue about mutual confidence and security.To support each other to modernize itself becomes the fundemantal interest of each side.Therefore,the development of Sino-India relation should follow the general trending of the world,the bilateral relation,and the interests of both peoples.
