摘　　要：《大宅》是威廉·福克纳(William Faulkner,1897—1962)晚期书写的斯诺普斯三部曲终章,其中独特的叙事手法和强烈的工商文明批判尽收眼底,也由此获得了国内外许多学者的钟爱和青睐。文中明克(Mink)无疑是一个值得我们深究的人物角色,尤其是他历经38年牢狱后日渐浮现的身份认同问题。立足于美国历史语境和价值信仰,斯图亚特·霍尔(Stuart Hall)教授和陶家俊教授的身份认同理论为我们解读明克后期行走于城市时呈现的个体、种族和阶级身份的认同困境提供了新视点,从而更好地体悟当时社会普遍存在的身份意识问题。The Mansion is the final part of the Snopes Trilogy written by William Faulkner(1897-1962)in his later period,in which the unique narrative techniques and strong critique of industrial and commercial civilization are fully witnessed,and thus it has won the love and favor of many scholars at home and abroad.Mink is undoubtedly a character worthy of deeper investigation in this novel,especially his emerging identity issues after 38 years in prison.Based on the American historical context and values,the identity theories of Prof.Stuart Hall and Prof.Tao Jiajun provide us with new perspectives for interpreting the identity dilemmas of individual,racial,and class identities presented by Mink when he walked in the city later,so as to better understand the identity consciousness problem that existed in the society at that time.
