摘 要:在中国教育早期现代化的百年历史进程中,近代教育家的成长与优秀传统文化的关系,是一个有着丰富学术内涵和强烈现实意义的话题。优秀传统文化是近代教育家人格、德性、情操的浓厚底色,是他们教育理论的重要基石和借鉴转化域外知识的坚实津梁,这是回顾和梳理这段历史进程中感受最深的三个问题。“底色”“、基石”“、津梁”三个词组,蕴涵着先贤们走向世界、艰辛探索的勇气、智慧和坚守。在中国教育现代化深入发展的新的历史起点,在世界格局日益多元化的国际环境下,追思先贤们的足迹,思考他们对待中国传统文化的态度和抉择,会给我们带来有意义的启迪。In the century-old history of the early modernization of Chinese education, the relationship between the growth of latter-day educators and excellent traditional Chinese culture is a topic with profound academic connotations and of strong practical significance. A review of this period of history shows that excellent traditional culture indicated a firm background for latter-day educators' personality, morality and sentiments, an important cornerstone for their educational theories, and a solid bridge for their reference for overseas knowledge. Such words as "background," "cornerstone" and "bridge" contain their courage, wisdom and perseverance in their diligent exploration into the world. At the new historical starting point of the in-depth development of China's educational modernization, and in the increasingly diversified international environment, reflections on their footsteps, and their attitudes toward and their choice of traditional Chinese culture can give us meaningful enlightenment.
