摘 要:目的探讨叙事医学内容融入医学英语教学对提升医学生医学叙事能力的有效性。方法选取某医学院校医学英语课程某班级为教学试验班,将叙事医学内容融入课程教学中,采用叙事医学“两工具”(细读和反思性写作)对学生进行训练,教学前后采用医学叙事能力量表、杰弗逊同理心量表(医学生版)、课程期末测试、课程期末问卷调查进行效果评价,了解教学前后学生医学叙事能力及医学英语知识能力方面的变化情况、课程的教学效果以及学生对课程的意见和建议。结果试验班学生医学叙事能力量表及同理心量表总得分均高于教学前,差异均具有统计学意义(P<0.05);试验班学生课程期末测试成绩显著高于对照班,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);课程期末问卷调查结果包括学生的学习兴趣、感受及收获等。结论叙事医学内容融入医学英语教学总体上有助于提升医学生的医学叙事能力、医学英语课程教学效果及学生对该课程的学习兴趣。Objective To explore the effectiveness of integrating narrative medicine into medical English teaching in improving the narrative competence of medical students.Methods A certain class of medical English course at a medical college was selected as the teaching experimental class,and narrative medicine content was integrated into the course teaching.The students were trained using the“two tools”of narrative medicine(close reading and reflective writing).The effectiveness of the teaching was evaluated using the Medical Narrative Ability Scale,JSPE-S,course final test,and course final questionnaire before and after the teaching to understand the changes in students’narrative competence and medical English knowledge before and after teaching,the teaching effectiveness of the course,and students’opinions and suggestions on the course.Results The total scores of both the Medical Narrative Ability Scale and JSPE-S of the experimental class were higher than before teaching,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The course final test scores of the experimental class were significantly higher than those of the control class,and the differences was statistically significant(P<0.05);The final questionnaire survey results of the course include students’learning interest,feelings,and gains.Conclusion Integrating narrative medicine into medical English teaching generally helps to enhance the narrative competence of medical students,improve the teaching effectiveness of medical English courses,and arouse students’interest in learning the course.
