意象、漩涡与生命形式——论庞德、戈蒂耶-布尔泽斯卡和刘易斯的生命美学

摘　　要：本文从观念史视角研究20世纪初以英国伦敦为发源地的意象派、漩涡派现代主义先锋运动中庞德、布尔泽斯卡、刘易斯建构的崭新生命美学,主要分析其美学的三个方面——意象中的生命颤动:庞德的意象诗学观流变;从意象到漩涡:庞德对意象的新阐释;穿越漩涡的生命:布尔泽斯卡和刘易斯的生命形式探源。他们推动的意象派、漩涡派运动从中国古典文明中汲取滋养,开拓了一条迥异于欧洲其他现代派运动的美学探索和文艺实验路径,提出了与东方中华文明高度契合、对现代西方人具有振聋发聩之效的生命美学。他们对中国的挚爱折射出20世纪初从传统的文化物质消费意义上的中国风向美学意义上的现代主义中国风的转变,在全球现代主义框架中推动了对中国古典诗艺、中国古典文明跨越东西方的阐释和转化。This article studies the completely new life aesthetics constructed by Ezra Pound,Henri Gaudier-Brzeska and Percy Wyndham Lewis in the Modernist Movement of Imagism and Vorticism with London as the foreground in the 1910s under the influence of Chinoiserie from the perspective of the history of ideas.It mainly analyzes the following three aspects of their life aesthetics:life vibrating in image-the dynamics of Pound's image poetics;from image to vortex-Pound's new interpretation of image;life through vortex-the tracing of life form by Brzeska and Lewis.The Imagist and Vorticist Movement mobilized by them draws nourishment from classical Chinese civilization,opens up a way of aesthetic exploration and literary as well as artistic experiment,totally different from other European Modernist Movements,puts forward life aesthetics that highly corresponds to Oriental Chinese civilization and manifests an enlightening effect to modern Westerners.Their love of China reflects the turn from traditional Chinoiserie in the sense of cultural material consumerism to Modernist Chinoiserie in an aesthetic sense in the early 20th century,mobilizing the interpretation and transformation of classical Chinese poetry and art as well as classical Chinese civilization in the framework of global modernism.
