西方浪漫主义的中国因素——从洛夫乔伊浪漫主义起源说谈起

摘　　要：中国因素在西方浪漫主义的形成过程中产生了多方面的影响。洛夫乔伊以中国园林对英国园林的影响为切入点,最先提出“浪漫主义的中国起源”问题。中国形象曾出现在浪漫主义的许多文学作品中,这些形象大多以作者想象的方式呈现,中国文化在审美和思想观念等领域与西方的差异,恰好被浪漫主义者赋予乌托邦的意义。中国因素之所以能在浪漫主义时期引起这些广泛的影响,和当时西方的“中国热”的影响密不可分,同时,浪漫主义者也利用乌托邦化的中国形象来反抗现代性。China has played an important role in the emergence and development of romanticism.Lovejoy is the first one to propose“the Chinese origin of a romanticism”,which focuses on the Chinese garden’s impact on British garden.In fact,the image of China has appeared in many literary works of romanticism in a way of artist’s imagination.Due to the huge differences of aesthetic and ideology between China and the west,China is considered as an image of utopia by romanticist.The reason why China can play such a role in the romanticism is based on the“Chinoiserie”,meanwhile,the utopian China becomes the weapon of romanticist to fight against modernity.
