私密艺术--临淄战国齐墓出土贝壳画刍议

摘　　要：1991年山东临淄徐家村南发掘所获三件战国中晚期带有彩绘的贝壳新近公布,由此使得海外博物馆收藏的同类文物,以及文献中的相关记载得到印证。这些用以把玩的小幅绘画属于私密的、“非礼”的“无益之作”,但却显示出早期绘画艺术超越宗教、礼仪与教化功用,具有审美价值的一面,丰富了我们对中国艺术史基本脉络的认识。Recently,the Shandong Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology published the images of three shells with paintings dated to the middle or late Warring States period,which were excavated from a tomb to the south of Xujiacun Village,Linzi,Shandong province in 1991.These findings revitalized the objects of a similar nature in overseas collections and relevant textual records.The small-scaled paintings are private,“non-ritual”,and“useless”works,but they demon-strate early painting’s pure aesthetic value,which transcended the religious,ritual,and didactic purposes.In this sense,they enrich our understanding of Chinese art history’s fundamental approach.
