摘 要:科技对于人和教育到底意味着什么?威廉·派纳(William Pinar)警示我们,带来各种便利的科技不仅是我们利用的手段,也定义着我们的目的和人性。他指出,“内空间”是人的主体独特性所在,也是主体间对话性遇见的前提。但在科技时代,展示文化与自恋大行其道,“电子人”(cyborg identities)角色正不断侵蚀着人独特且连贯的“内空间”。而本来能发挥积极作用的教育,也在科技时代被放逐。科技模糊了信息与知识的边界,误导了学习的性质,使教育遗忘了真正应该关心的问题。派纳强调,课程要通过“激活历史、体验当下、鼓励对话”等积极变革,守护人的“内空间”,以应对科技给人和教育带来的冲击。What indeed does technology mean for human beings and education?William Pinar cautions us that technology is not merely a convenient and advanced instrument that we take advantage of,rather,it defines human beings'purposes and nature,which poses threats to education instead of opportunities.He reminds us the importance of restoring the"inner space"of human beings in the age of technology to realize real educational purposes.The"inner space"is essential for each human being:It is where human subjectivity is located and the prerequisite of di-alogic encounters with others.In our time saturated with technology,exhibitionist culture and narcissist tendency go viral.Cyborg identities invade the unique and consistent"inner space"of human beings.Education is exiled in the face of technology.Technology blurs the boundary between information and knowledge;misguides the nature of study as well as makes education forget about its true concerns.Pinar emphasizes,to protect and restore our"inner space",education could transform itself through reactivation of the past,being attuned to the now and encourage-ment of conversations.
