文化自觉视域下古建筑术语翻译中的文化诠释

摘　　要：中国古建筑蕴含着本土文化,体现着千百年来中国人的智慧。古建筑术语是古建筑文化的核心部分,体现了古建筑专业文本的独特、精确与严谨,术语翻译在古建筑文化的对外翻译和传播中起着至关重要的作用。术语的误译会导致译本失去意义。本文在文化自觉视域下,分析部分典型古建筑术语的翻译,挖掘误译现象与产生的原因,探讨古建筑术语翻译中容易忽视的文化传播效果、文化语境因素和文化自觉意识,阐明文化诠释在术语翻译中的重要性与必要性,为中国古建筑术语翻译的研究和实践带来一定的启示。Ancient Chinese architecture contains the local culture and the wisdom of the Chinese people for thousands of years.The terminology of ancient architecture,which plays a key role in the ancient architectural texts as well as the translation and communication of ancient architectural culture,is the essential element in ancient Chinese architectural culture.And it reflects the uniqueness,accuracy and preciseness of professional texts of ancient architecture,but the mistranslation of terms will lead to the loss of meaning of the entire translation.From the perspective of cultural awareness,this paper analyzes the translation of ancient Chinese architectural terms,digs into the mistranslation and the causes of it,explores the effect of cultural transmission,the factor of cultural context and the consciousness of cultural awareness that are easily overlooked,and discusses the importance and necessity of cultural interpretation in term translation,so as to bring inspiration to the research and practice of ancient Chinese architectural term translation.
