摘 要:法国是叙事学的发源地。20世纪70年代末以来,法国结构主义叙事学受到诸多质疑,并似乎逐渐被“后经典叙事学”超越。尽管国际影响力减弱,当代法语叙事学本身仍处于不断发展更新之中。它一方面紧跟国际叙事学主流的步伐,注重叙述研究的跨国别区域合作及其跨学科、跨媒介、重语境特征;另一方面它重视对经典阶段研究成果的继承、修正与发展,借鉴陈述语言学、篇章语言学、话语类型学等法语语言学资源反思叙事学问题,取得了独特的成果,从理论建构与批评实践方面为当代叙事学发展提供了后经典叙事学路径以外的其他可能性。Narratology was born in France.Since the late 1970s,French structuralist narratology has met increasing challenges and seems to have been surpassed by“postclassical narratology.”Despite its dwindling international influence,however,French and Francophone narratology continue to develop and renew itself.On the one hand,it maintains a close link to major trends of narratology in the world by emphasizing transnational and trans-regional cooperation as well as interdisciplinary,intermedial,and context-based methods.On the other hand,it emphasizes the importance of inheriting,revising,and developing classical legacies,and continues to be inspired by French linguistic theories such as enunciative linguistics,textual linguistics,and the study of discourse genres to reflect on narratological issues,resulting in unique advancements.French and Francophone narratology can thus provide approaches to contemporary narrative studies that offer alternatives to the postclassical developments in both theory and practice.
