摘　　要：大力发展数字技术、推动服务业转型升级是加快经济高质量发展的重大战略任务。本文基于2010—2018年《中国城市统计年鉴》数据,采用固定效应模型实证检验了数字技术对地区经济高质量发展的影响及其作用机制。基准分析结果表明,数字技术显著提升了地区经济高质量发展水平,并且这一结论在经过内生性检验和稳健性检验后依然成立。异质性分析结果表明,数字技术对东部和中部的经济高质量发展有更明显的提升作用,而对西部和东北部未有显著影响。机制分析结果表明,数字技术通过促进服务业就业和增强服务业产业链韧性等机制提升地区经济高质量发展水平。进一步分析结果表明,相比于生产性服务业等新业态,地区经济高质量发展水平的提升更加依赖于生活性服务业。本文的研究结论对于加快服务业转型升级、更好发挥数字技术应用的价值驱动作用具有重要的政策启示。Vigorously developing digital technology and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the service industry is a major strategic task to accelerate and coordinate the high⁃quality development of the economy.In this context,it is important to systematically answer the question of whether the digital economy can drive the high⁃quality development of the regional economy through the upgrading of the service industry.Further,it is of great practical significance to reveal the mechanism of the upgrading of the service industry in the process of high⁃quality economic development driven by digital technology at the city level.This paper,using a two⁃way fixed⁃effects model,empirically examines the impact of digital technology on the high⁃quality development of the regional economy and the underlying mechanism based on the data from the China City Statistical Yearbook from 2010 to 2018.The results show that digital technology significantly enhances the high⁃quality development of the regional economy,and this conclusion still holds after a series of endogeneity tests and robustness tests.Heterogeneity analysis shows that digital technology exerts a more significant positive effect on the high⁃quality economic development in the eastern and central regions,while the effect is not significant in the western and northeastern regions.The mechanism test shows that digital technology enhances the high⁃quality development of the regional economy by improving the level of employment and the resilience of the industrial chain.Further analysis shows that the high⁃quality development of the regional economy may rely more on life services than on new business models such as productive services.This paper expands on the previous literature in the following three aspects.First,the impact of digital technology on the high⁃quality development of the regional economy is examined by using a two⁃way fixed⁃effects model,which not only enriches the empirical analysis of the economic effects of digital technology
