从反袁到附袁:谭延闿与二次革命  

From Objecting to YUAN Shikai to Clinging to YUAN Shikai:TAN Yankai and the Second Revolution

摘　　要：袁世凯上台后,为巩固和加强自己的统治地位,在军事上极力削弱南方革命党的力量,政治上暗杀主张政党政治的国民党领袖宋教仁,经济上向列强举借2500万英镑的善后大借款,由此引发革命党发起反抗袁世凯的二次革命。对袁世凯一系列镇压革命党的举措,作为国民党的湘督谭延闿均表示强烈反对,并进行了猛烈抨击,另一方面又不愿参加南方革命党反袁的革命,与袁世凯决裂。二次革命期间,谭延闿游移于革命党与袁世凯之间;革命失败后,屡屡向袁世凯效忠,同时希望国务总理熊希龄斡旋湘省与中央的关系。在袁世凯的压迫下,谭延闿最终被褫夺湘督之职,并赴京附袁。二次革命期间,由反袁到附袁所表现出态度的转变,反映了谭延闿作为资产阶级立宪派妥协性的本质,同时也是他对当时社会的主导舆论、南北双方力量对比及湖南自身实际情况等多重因素综合考虑而作出的政治抉择。After coming to power,YUAN Shikai tried various means to consolidate his ruling positron,such as weakening the power of the Southern Revolutionary Party militarily,assassinating the Kuomintany leader SONG Jiaoren who advocated Party politics politically,and borrowed 25 million pounds from the great powers economically.These aetions stirred the revolutionary party to launch the second revolution to fight against YUAN Shikai.Meanwhile,YUAN Shikai’s suppression of the revolutionary party triggered strong opposition and severe critrcisn by TAN Yankai,a Kuaningdan governor,who,however,was unwilling to participate in the Southern Revolutionary Party to fight against YUAN Shikai and broke with him.During the second revolution,TAN Yankai swayed precariously between the revolutionary Patry and YUAN Shikai.After the failure of the revolution,he surrendered to YUAN Shikai and showed his royalty repeatedly.Moreover,he took advantage of Prime Minister XIONG Xiling to mediate the relationship between Human Province and the Central Government.Under YUAN Shikai’s pressure,TAN Yankai was stripped off his post and clung to YONA Shikai.In general,his attitude charge from Objecting to Clinging to YUAN Shikai during the second revolution as a bourgeois constitutionalist-and the political choice he made based on his consideration of multiple factors,such as the dominant public opinion in the society,the great disparity between the South and the North and the actual situation in Hunan province.
