摘  要:英语教学不仅是语言知识的传递,还是一种文化的传播和交流。当前,我国高校英语教学模式仍较为单一,在多元文化融入的过程中存在多元文化教材资源缺乏、教师多元文化意识薄弱、教学评价体制尚不完善等诸多问题,难以有效应对全球化背景下多元文化交融所带来的冲击和挑战。因此,文章主要从高校英语教学改革的现实需求出发,力图在明确多元文化内涵和特征的基础上,进一步明确多元文化视角下高校英语教学改革的具体路径,通过多元文化在英语教学中的融入,切实推动学生综合素质的全面提升。English teaching is not only the transmission of language knowledge,but also the dissemination and exchange of culture.At present,English teaching in Chinese universities is still relatively single,and there are many problems in the process of multicultural integration,such as a lack of multicultural textbook resources,weak awareness of multiculturalism among teachers,and an imperfect teaching evaluation system.It is difficult to effectively cope with the impact and challenges brought about by multicultural integration in the context of globalization,Therefore,this article mainly starts from the practical needs of English teaching reform in China,aiming to further clarify the specific path of English teaching reform in universities from a multicultural perspective on the basis of clarifying th e connotation and characteristics of multiculturalism.Through the integration of multiculturalism in English teaching in universities,it effectively promotes the comprehensive improvement of students'comprehensive quality.
