长学制临床医学专业开设《热带病和全球健康》课程的意义和启示

摘　　要：全球化、工业化和信息智能化的高速发展,对人类健康产生深远的影响,而这种影响多是跨越区域或国界,需要各国共同应对。因此,卫生问题的全球化-“全球健康(Global Health)”已经成为人类面临的共同挑战。为适应这种挑战,全世界越来越多的医学院提出将“全球健康”内容纳入医学教育。在我国,长学制临床医学教育肩负培养“能参与国际竞争、引领未来医学发展的有情怀的卓越医生”的重任,区别于普通的5年制临床医学教育,其人才培养中“国际化、高层次和创新性”具有更高的要求,必须具备了解全球健康核心问题和理念的能力。因此,为顺应未来医疗全球化的趋势,培养具有国际化视野和全球健康理念,能应对重要复杂问题的全球治理能力的高质量医学人才,中山大学中山医学院在长学制临床医学专业中开设《热带病和全球健康》通识必修课。本文总结本校开设本课程3年的经验实践,就长学制临床医学专业开展全球健康教育的重要性、必要性以及目前遇到的困难进行讨论,以进一步优化本课程,并为其他院校相关课程的发展建设提供借鉴。The rapid development of globalization,industrialization,and information intelligence had a profound impact on human health.Most of these impacts are transcending regional or national boundaries and requiring collaborative efforts from countries worldwide.Therefore,the globalization of health,known as“Global Health”has become a common challenge for human beings.To adapt to this challenge,an increasing number of medical schools around the world have proposed incorporating“Global Health”into medical education.In China,long⁃term clinical medicine education aims to cultivate outstanding doctors who can participate in international competition and lead the future development of medicine.Different from regular five⁃year clinical medicine education,long⁃term clinical medicine education has higher requirements for“internationalization,high⁃level,and innovation”in talent cultivation and requires the ability to understand core issues and concepts of global health.Therefore,in order to meet the trend of future globalized healthcare and cultivate high⁃quality medical professionals with an international perspective and the ability to address important complex issues in global governance,Zhongshan School of Medine,Sun Yat⁃sen University set up the course of Tropical Diseases and Global Health in our long⁃term clinical medicine program.This article summarizes three years of experience and practice in offering this course at our institution,discussing the importance,necessity,and current challenges faced in implementing global health education in the long⁃term clinical medicine program.The aim of this article is to further optimize the course and provide reference for the development of similar courses in other institutions.
