摘 要:西学东渐以来,大量西方数学著作的翻译引进为中国数学的发展注入了活力,但是译著中数学术语混乱的现象越来越严重,已经影响到学术研究与知识传播。因此,晚清以来,外国传教士、中国学者、政府机构及学会组织通过制定翻译原则、编撰术语表和数学词典、开会讨论、征求专家建议等方式,在数学术语统一方面做了大量工作。经过一代又一代学者的努力,中国数学术语终于在20世纪90年代完成统一。Since the introduction of western culture to China,a large number of western mathematical works were translated and introduced to China,which brought vitality to China's mathematics.However,the inconsistency or deviation of the translated versions of those mathematical terms caused great confusion,seriously affecting related academic research and the dissemination of mathematical knowledge in China.Since the late Qing Dynasty,such individuals and organizations of different times as foreign missionaries,Chinese scholars,government agencies and academic organizations did a lot of work on the integration and consistency of mathematical terms by formulating translation principles,compiling glossary and dictionaries,holding meetings,as well as soliciting expert suggestions.Through their painstaking efforts,China's mathematical terms were finally integrated in the 1990s.
