摘　　要：《丘比特之书》由乔叟至交好友约翰·克兰沃所作,是最早的乔叟系诗作,也是最好的乔叟系梦幻诗之一。克兰沃并未机械模仿乔叟,而是真正领略和把握了乔叟梦幻诗的精髓,在诗中巧妙运用梦幻诗叙事框架、爱情失意的叙事者以及辩论诗传统,表达了对中世纪风雅爱情的思考。笔者研究之余,尝试翻译这首精致小巧、妙趣横生的诗作,与中世纪英国文学爱好者分享。The Boke of Cupide,God of Love is written by John Clanvowe,one of Chaucer’s closest friends.It is the earliest Chaucerian work and one of the best Chaucerian dream vision poems.Clanvowe is not a mechanical imitator of Chaucer;instead,he well appreciates and grasps the creative dynamic in his dream poem.He articulates his complicated reflections over the courtly love through the dream narrative framework,the unrequited narrator,and the medieval debate poetry tradition.This Chinese version is a byproduct of this author’s research work on the compact and pleasant poem,hereby presented for the delight of medieval English literature lovers.
