Assessment of Toxoplasma gondii Contamination in Cat Feces

摘　　要：A study in district Buner,Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,aimed to determine the prevalence of Toxoplasma gondii in cat feces.243 fecal samples were collected and examined for intestinal parasites at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.Of these,58 samples(23.86%)were positive for T.gondii oocysts.Samples were collected over five months from November 2016 to March 2017,with varying prevalence rates:20% in November,25.7% in December,22.5% in January,25.9% in February,and 21.9% in March.This was the first study of its kind conducted in district Buner.
