论历辈班禅爱国爱教的历史传统  

On the Historical Tradition of Patriotism and Love of the Religion by Successive Panchen Lamas

摘　　要：班禅额尔德尼作为藏传佛教格鲁派最重要的活佛世系之一,不仅在格鲁派的建立和发展过程中有重要建树,而且从清代起就在西藏地方的政治、宗教、文化方面发挥重大作用。历辈班禅传承至今,始终秉承爱国爱教的历史传统,顾全大局、倾心内向,努力维护西藏地方社会稳定,对维护祖国统一、促进民族团结作出了巨大贡献。文章在梳理藏传佛教爱国爱教典范和历辈班禅世系的基础上,从捍卫国家主权、维护西藏稳定、维护中央权威、促进藏传佛教发展四个方面,回顾并列举了历辈班禅具有典型性和代表性的历史事件与优良传统,认为继续学习、传承和弘扬历辈班禅爱国爱教、护国利民的光荣传统,在当代对坚持藏传佛教中国化和铸牢中华民族共同体意识仍然具有重要的现实价值。As one of the most important Living Buddha lineages of the Gelug sect in Tibetan Buddhism,the Panchen Erdeni has not only made important contributions in the establishment and development of the Gelug sect,but also played an important role in the politics,religion and culture of Xizang since the Qing Dynasty.The Panchen Lamas of the past generations have always upheld the historical tradition of patriotism and love of the religion,taking the overall situation into consideration,being inward-looking,striving to maintain local social stability in Xizang,and making great contributions to safeguarding the unification of the motherland and promoting national unity.On the basis of sorting out the examples of patriotism and love of the religion of Tibetan Buddhism and successive Panchen Lamas,the article reviews and lists the historical events and tradition of typical and representative from four aspects:defending national sovereignty,maintaining stability of Xizang,safeguarding the authority of the central government,promoting the development of Tibetan Buddhism.It is believed that studying,inheriting,and carrying forward the glorious tradition of patriotism,love of the religion,and protecting the country and benefiting the people by successive Panchen Lamas,still has inexhaustible practical value in developing Tibetan Buddhism in the Chinese context and the forging of the strong sense of community of the Chinese nation.
