摘　　要：元现代主义作为“后现代之后”的一种文化理论或艺术思潮,已经波及诸多哲学人文社科领域。美国学者斯托姆自称是“古怪的犹太混血佛教徒”,其独特的身份为他的理论创造带来了一种跨文化的学术视野。这使他关于元现代主义的理论思考非常具有新意。他认为理论的未来就是元现代主义,他所提出和论证的概念和理论——跨物种“森林符号学”“有情生物”“元现代探究主义”等,有力地推进了当代哲学美学和文化理论的建构,同时深化和拓展了元现代主义理论。这既是对元现代主义的超前展望,也是对已有相关理论的某种不无总结意味的理论概括。因此,关注和研究J.ā.J.斯托姆的元现代探究主义有助于我们对当代西方在后现代之后理论的新进展有一个比较清晰的认知。As a cultural theory or artistic trend of thought after postmodernism,meta-modernism has spread to many fields of philosophy,humanities and social sciences.J.Ā.J.Storm,an American scholar,describes himself as an“a queer,mixed-race Jewish-Buddhist”whose unique identity brings a cross-cultural academic perspective to the creation of his theories.This makes his theoretical thinking about meta-modernism very innovative.He believes that the future of theory is meta-modernism,and the concepts and theories he proposed and demonstrated like crossspecies“Hylosemiotics”,“sentient beings”,“meta-modern Zeteticism”,etc.,have vigorously promoted the construction of contemporary philosophical aesthetics and cultural theories,and deepened and expanded the theory of meta modernism.Therefore,paying attention to and studying J.Ā.J.Storm’s metamodern Zeteticism is helpful for us to have a clear understanding of the new development in western after postmodern theory.
