摘　　要：《欧阳海之歌》因其多维叙事及其与二十世纪六七十年代国家叙事需求的适配性,成为彼时为数不多的、被翻译的中国文学作品。话语层面,沙博理对叙事结构、叙事视角、叙事时间进行了调整;故事层面,沙博理对文化故事和政治故事进行异语语境转换。在话语与故事层面,沙博理根据译者身份做出不同叙事转换。以此为视角,文章分析了译者不同策略选择的动机,发现叙事转换是译者在话语与故事层面综合考量国家翻译实践的目的、国内外语境、英语读者的阅读习惯与接受能力等后做出的平衡选择。The Song of Ouyang Hai became one of the few Chinese literary works translated during 1960s and 1970s because of its multiple narratives and its adaptability to the national narrative needs of the era.At the discourse level,Sidney Shapiro adjusted the narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative time.At the story level,Shapiro transformed the cultural and political stories.From the perspective of the translator’s identities,the motivation of different choices is analyzed.The transformation was a balance made after considering the purpose of state translation program,domestic and foreign contexts,and English readers’reading habits and acceptance ability.
