摘 要:在我国实现“两个一百年”奋斗目标、建设高等教育强国的过程中,“新文科”建设计划应时而出,文科由“旧”转“新”成为必然。当今新文科建设要推动哲学社会科学与新科技革命交叉融合,是革“新”与树“心”的结合。新文科建设之“新”体现在教育理念、课程体系和育人方式的创新;新文科建设之“心”表现为坚定文化自信心、坚持不断改革的恒心、坚守弘扬人文精神的初心。只有对其“新”与“心”有了明确认识,才能找准新文科建设的创新要义和核心基点,解决新文科建设中出现的种种问题,为实现中国式高等教育现代化提供坚实的支撑。Contemporary liberal arts education encounters a predicament, but it is also at the turning point in its develop⁃ ment. The project of new humanities and social sciences construction has been initiated in answer to China’s na⁃ tional strategy of realizing the “Two Centenary Goals” and building a leading country in higher education, an urge for the shift in liberal arts education from the “old” to the “new. ” New humanities and social sciences aim to inte⁃ grate philosophy and social sciences with the new round of scientific and technological revolution, a process of inno⁃ vating the old based on the core philosophy of higher liberal arts education. The “new” of the project is reflected in the innovation of educational idea, curriculum structure and education method;while the “core” of it is encapsulated by a firm confidence in Chinese culture, a persistence for reform, and a dedication to preserve and enrich the essence of the humanistic values. A precise understanding of its “new” and “core” is vital to pinpoint the crux of the innova⁃ tion and the fundamental in the construction of new humanities and social sciences, address various issues in its prog⁃ ress, and erect a solid support for the modernization of Chinese higher education.
