摘　　要：Objective To investigate the association of uric acid excretion (UUAE) with obesity and abdominal obesity in newly diagnosed patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 1 175 newly diagnosed T2DM patients hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Shanghai Sixth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine were enrolled in this study from January 2006to December 2012.According to the quartile of UUAE.
