摘　　要：南洋公学的创建、宁波府教育会的成立,既是清末新政的组成部分,无疑也是沪甬两地教育近代化的标志性事件。张美翊生逢其时,皆曾以教育管理者的身份深度参与其中,并在此一过程中形成了若干理论性不强但个性十足的教育理念,从中可见他心仪的教学内容和教育宗旨,仍是注重德育的传统经史之学。The founding of the Nanyang Public School and the Ningbo Education Association was not only a part of the new policy in the late Qing Dynasty,but also a landmark event in the modernization of education in Shanghai and Ningbo.Zhang Meiyi was born at the right time and was deeply involved in it as an educational administrator.In this process,he developed some educational ideas that were not strong in theory but full of personality.It can be seen that his favorite teaching content and educational purpose are still the traditional classics and history,which focuses on moral education.
