摘 要:1923年4月张竞生在《晨报副刊》上发表了《爱情的定则与陈淑君女士事的研究》,提出他的爱情观,引发了现代中国第一次爱情大讨论。在张竞生看来,爱情是男女双方的自由,是有条件可比较可变迁的,情爱比离合更重要。他认为夫妻双方都要“竭力向上”努力使爱情不变迁。当时许多人难以接受他的爱情观,特别是不支持他说的离婚自由,盖因它背离了中国家本位等文化传统。尊重个性崇尚自由是张竞生爱情观的本质内涵,是个体本位文化理念的体现。爱情自由是张竞生生命美学的一个组成部分,爱情定则早就存在他的生命美学构思当中,其可取之处值得我们去辨析,批判地吸收。In April 1923,Zhang Jingsheng published“A Study on the Rules of Love and the Case of Ms.Chen Shujun”in the Morning Post Supplement,in which Zhang put forward his view of love,which triggered the first great discussion on love in modern China.In Zhang’s opinion,love is the freedom of both men and women,which can be conditional,comparable and changeable,and love is more important than separation and reunion.He believed that both husband and wife should“try their best”to keep love alive.Many people at that time found it difficult to accept his view of love,especially his idea of freedom of divorce,because such view deviated from Chinese cultural tra-ditions such as family orientation.Respecting individuality and advocating freedom is the essential con-notation of Zhang’s view of love,which is the embodiment of individual-based cultural concept.Free-dom of love is an integral part of Zhang’s aesthetics of life.The rules of love have long existed in his conception of the aesthetics of life,and their merits deserve to be analyzed and critically ab-sorbed.
