摘 要:在英语教学环节中,学生需历经单词辨别、记忆、熟练运用等诸多环节,但具体情况下学生的思维方式常常受到汉语语言习惯的影响,导致其在记忆单词时存在误区和困难,这种困境因人而异,具有鲜明的个体差异。艾宾浩斯遗忘曲线(简称遗忘曲线),清晰地展示了人在长期和短期记忆方面的差异,引导学生了解如何增强记忆,从而使学到的知识和技能能够更有效地被应用。在英语教学中灵活运用遗忘曲线,可以显著提高学生对教学知识的记忆和认知能力,为其英语学习奠定坚实的基础。In terms of vocabulary learning in English teaching,students need to go through many links such as word discrimination,memory and skilled use.However,under the specifi c circumstances,students’thinking is deeply restricted by Chinese language thinking,which leads to their cognitive misunderstandings and diffi culties in vocabulary memory.However,dilemmas vary from person to person and have distinct individual differences.The Ebbinghaus forgetting curve(referred to as the“forgetting curve”),a curve that can effectively reflect the law of memory,can clearly show the gap of human memory in the long term and short term.The Ebbinghaus forgetting curve can help students strengthen memory and eff ectively apply the acquired knowledge and skills.The fl exible application of the forgetting curve in English teaching can improve the eff ectiveness of students’memory and cognition of teaching knowledge,and lay a solid foundation for English knowledge learning.
