摘 要:1999年2月7日,费孝通在一次与后辈同事的谈话中指出,在学术研究上如何能够有超越性自觉,以此来警示中国社会科学研究中的那种少有深度思考而至思想过度平面化的倾向。这是面对世界之变而有的一种超越性自觉。他为此强调“脑筋要跟得上”,要有一种意识自觉,要学会一种搭出来的方法论。为此要超越于原有那些已经成型并设定好的既有边界,实现基于反思而有的新创造。费孝通试图引领年轻一代的研究者重新看待实现人群之中灵性沟通的象征意义,追求超越性的灵与慧的真实存在。这属于人所拥有的象征以及基于象征性而有的意义表达,体现出来的是一种人的悟性理解能力,其跟人的大脑中所储藏着的那些“灵”和“慧”的存在密不可分,而“灵”和“慧”的存在本身造就或体现出了人的悟性或理解的发生,这是年轻一代的社会科学研究者在面对世界新发展格局时所需要的一种超越性自觉。In his later years,in a dialogue with his junior colleagues on February 7,1999,Fei Xiaotong put forward the idea of how there could be a transcendent self-awareness presence in academic research,as a warning against the tendency of the kind of social science research in China that has little depth of thought and leads to excessive planarization of thought.This is a transcendent consciousness in the face of changes in the world.In this regard,he emphasized the need to“brain to keep up”,to have a sense of self-awareness,and to learn a methodology for building out.To achieve this,we need to transcend the existing boundaries that have been formed and set,and achieve new creations based on reflection.Fei Xiaotong attempts to lead the junior generation of researchers to re-examine the symbolic significance of achieving spiritual communication among the population,and pursue the true existence of transcendent spirit and wisdom.This belongs to the symbolism possessed by humans and the expression of meaning based on symbolism,reflecting a kind of human comprehension ability,which is intertwined with the existence of“spirit”and“wisdom”stored in the human brain,and the existence of“spirit”and“wisdom”itself creates and reflects the occurrence of human comprehension.This is a kind of transcendent consciousness that the junior generation of social science researchers need to have in the face of the new development pattern of the world.
