摘　　要：中国现代著名哲学家金岳霖在其英文论作Tao Nature and Man(《道、自然与人》)中提出了自己的境界论思想,用的是“Vista”。在金岳霖境界论中,境界是由人所理解的事物对于自己的意味(significance)构成的,分为朴素(naive)、英雄(heroic)、圣人(sage)三种境界。朴素境界是“自我和他人的二分以及实在的二分(实在的二分即人和自然的二分)都被降到了最低限度”的境界;英雄境界是“实在的二分化几乎达到最大限度”的境界,有人类中心主义和自我中心主义英雄境界两种形式;圣人境界是人经过“高度的沉思和冥想”达到的人与自然合一或天人合一境界。金岳霖旨在通过对境界问题的探讨,引导人超越英雄境界,确立圣人境界的理想追求。In Tao Nature and Man,the famous modern Chinese philosopher Jin Yuelinput forward his idea of realm theory,using“Vista”.The realm is constituted by the significance of the things,which is divided into three realms:naive,heroic and sage.The naive“Vista”is one in which the dichotomy of reality as well as the of self and others is reduced to a minimum.The heroic“Vista”is one in which the dichotomy of reality is almost at a maximum.The sagely“Vista”is a realm of the unification of nature and man.Jin Yuelin’s aim is to guide people togo beyond the heroic“Vista”and pursue the sagely“Vista”.
