摘　　要：如何在大众化和普及化时代分类建设高质量的高等教育体系是重要的研究议题。分类是高等教育的治理方式,潘懋元先生高等教育分类思想源自于其对中国高等教育现实问题的反思、对高等教育规律的探索、对域外经验的借鉴和对中国特色的升华。潘先生分类思想不是就分类而言分类,而是以分类思想为中心形成体系化的分类思想,核心构成包括高等教育分类的批判性、结构性、质量观、评价观和建设观五个方面。在高等教育大众化和普及化阶段,潘先生高等教育分类思想提供了高校多样化一流建设的方法论基础,对促进高等教育理论发展和推动高等教育建设实践都具有重要的价值,也引领了诸多高等教育学者进一步探索中国特色高等教育理论和高等教育强国的方案。How to classify and build a high-quality higher education system in the era of popularization and popularization is an important research topic.Pan Maoyuan's thought on the classification of higher education is a treasure trove of ideas that is worthy of in-depth exploration.This idea originates from Mr.Pan's reflection on the practical problems of Chinese higher education,exploration of the laws of higher education,reference to foreign experiences,and sublimation of Chinese characteristics.The classification of higher education is the governance method of higher education.Mr.Pan's classification ideology forms a systematic classification ideology centered on classification ideology.The core components include five aspects of higher education classification:critical,structural,quality,evaluation,and construction.In the stage of popularization and popularization of higher education,Mr.Pan's classification of higher education provides a methodological basis for the diversified and first-class construction of universities,which has important value in promoting the development of higher education theory and promoting the practice of higher education construction.It also leads many higher education scholars to further explore the theory of higher education with Chinese characteristics and the plan for building a strong country in higher education,There is also room for further research in many past and future issues.
