摘　　要：翻译能力测评体系建设是翻译人才队伍建设的基础,研制、应用有效的翻译能力标准对翻译人才阶梯化、细颗粒化的测评起着关键作用。《中国翻译能力测评等级标准》与《中国英语能力等级量表》对翻译能力的定义、描述与测评方法,各有侧重,各具特色,对比二者在研制背景与目的、理论基础与研制方法、描述语特征等方面的共性和差异,提出未来的研究选题,有助于翻译学界、翻译行业团体、翻译教师和学生正确认识和厘清二者的联系与区别,促进翻译能力标准及量表的相关学术研究、教学应用和职业资质考察,推动适合于中国国情、教情、学情和行情的翻译人才测评标准化建设。A sound assessment system is crucial in identifying different levels and offering fine-grained description of professional translators and interpreters'competence.To design and develop valid competence standards are thus the fundamental step.China's Standards for Translator and Interpreter Competence Assessment and China's Standards of English Language Ability share some common grounds but they also differ in their definitions,descriptions and evaluation methods of translation and interpreting competence.By comparing the two standards in terms of research background,theoretical basis,development methods,and descriptor features,we identify future research and application areas for the standards of translation and interpreting competence,and call for further efforts in developing a common and standardized translation and interpreting competence testing and assessment system for China's learners and practitioners.
