环境公正维度下《寂静的春天》的生态重释

摘　　要：蕾切尔·卡逊的《寂静的春天》作为“毒物书写”的经典,揭露了滥用化学农药对包括人类在内的整个生物圈造成的恶果,论证了万物生灵相互依存的生态中心主义思想。虽然卡逊考察的范围超越了第一波生态批评中的荒野自然,将其扩展到了人与自然相互作用的城市自然空间,然而她仍然从宏观的视角普遍地探讨人与环境的关系,忽略了因种族、性别和阶级等因素处于边缘地带弱势群体的独特环境经验。由于卡逊的生活经验及所处时代背景等多方面缘由,导致《寂静的春天》缺乏一定的环境公正视野。而只有将对自然生态的深切关怀和对环境公正伦理的迫切诉求相结合,才能为解决全球环境问题提供切实有效的文化和现实路径。As a classic of"toxicology",Rachel Carson's Silent Spring exposes the harmful effects from indis⁃criminate use of chemical pesticides on the entire biosphere including mankind,and demonstrates the ecocentrism thought on all living things'interdependence.Carson extends the scope of her study beyond the wilderness nature in the first wave of eco-criticism to the urban natural space where man and nature interact.She,however,still generally discusses the relationship between man and environment from the macro perspective,and ignores the unique environmental experience of disadvantaged groups in marginal areas due to factors like race,gender,class,etc.Many reasons like Carson's life experience,social background,etc.give rise to the absence of a certain vision of environmental justice in Silent Spring.Nothing but the combination of deep concerns for natural ecology with urgent appeals for environmental justice can find a practical and effective cultural and realistic path to the solution of global environmental problems.
