摘　　要：晚清以降,中国语文开启了现代重构的进程,中外语言的深度互动与接触是重要的推动力量,王国维在此过程中发挥了积极作用。借助“新语”,王国维对作为人文“科学”的“文学”进行了规定性表述,并形成一套不同于中国传统的、源自欧洲比较语言学的语言与思想、语言与文学关系的新认识,体现之一是,在表达思想感情时言语(口说的话)相较于文字更直接、自然与透明。这种抬高言语的认识,顺应了现代中国“汉字革命”与“文学革命”的大势,具有隐秘的反传统倾向。王国维的语言论与其诗学观念一道在现代中国产生着范式性的巨大影响,但也应看到,其依恃新语展开的诗学论述,在阐释中国文学传统时不可避免地存在着龉龃矛盾、错位误识、效力不足等问题。Since the late Qing dynasty,Chinese language has started the process of modern reconstruction.The deep interaction and contact between Chinese and foreign languages is an important driving force,and Wang Guowei played an active role in this process.With the aid of“Neologism”,he formulated“Literature”as a humanistic“Science”,and formed a new understanding of the relationship between language and thought,language and literature,which is different from the Chinese tradition and originated from European comparative linguistics,when expressing thoughts and feelings,words(spoken words)are more direct,natural and transparent than words.This understanding of elevating speech makes it conform to the general trend of“Chinese character revolution”and“Literature Revolution”in modern China,with a hidden anti-traditional tendency.Wang’s theory of language,together with his poetic ideas,has a great influence on modern China,but it should also be seen that Wang’s poetics is based on neologisms,in the interpretation of Chinese literary tradition,there are inevitable problems such as discord and contradiction,misplaced understanding,lack of effectiveness and so on.
