摘  要:当前全球化趋势受多种因素阻滞,全球化发展面临转型。在此背景下,仍然强调高等教育国际化中的地位格局、话语权力、实力差异会加剧全球对立与国家间博奔。知识外交理论由简·奈特率先提出并加以阐述,为审视各类高等教育国际化活动提供了新的理论视角。知识外交理论注重在高等教育国际化、研究、创新领域中,知识的全球流动对于建立或加强国家间联系、应对全球共同挑战的作用。现阶段已有高等教育国际化的相关案例充分体现了知识外交的理念及特征。但知识外交理论若想进一步应用还须反思:如何基于知识的流动,重塑国际高等教育格局;如何平衡知识外交与知识权力二者的价值排序,高等教育如何发挥在知识外交中的引领作用。The current trajectory of globalization faces multi-faceted hindrances,necessitating a transformative shift.Emphasis remains on status,discourse power,and power disparities in international higher education,intensifying global confrontations and inter-country strategies.Jane Knight's theory of knowledge diplomacy provides a novel perspective on higher education internationalization.It focuses on the role of global knowledge exchange in forging connections between nations and addressing global challenges in higher education,research,and innovation.While current circumstances offer illustrative cases of international higher education endeavors that vividly epitomize the conceptual and characteristic underpinnings of knowledge diplomacy,the prospects for its more expansive application demand profound reflection upon several cardinal considerations.These include the imperative to contemplate how the international higher education landscape can be reconfigured on the foundational basis of knowledge flow,the exigency of achieving a harmonious equilibrium between the hierarchical valuations of knowledge diplomacy and knowledge potency,and the agency of higher education institutions in assuming a leadership role within the ambit of knowledge diplomacy.
