摘 要:清末民初,国家危机重重,为救亡图存社会兴起革命思潮,在美术领域出现“美术革命”之声。蔡元培便是其中最为重要的健将之一,他将美术革命与救国大义融为一体,认为美术不仅有审美愉悦感,还能启迪智慧,辅翼道德;为了启蒙,他高举美育的旗帜,以美育代替宗教,希望通过美育开启民智,实现民族的自立自强。囿于时代之困,其壮志未酬,然而其理论与实践依然有益于当下中国的精神文明建设。At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the country was in great crisis,and in order to save the country,a revolutionary trend emerged in the field of fine arts which was the sound of"fine arts revolution".Cai Yuanpei was one of the most important pioneers,who integrated the fine arts revolution with the national salvation,believing that fine arts not only had aesthetic pleasure,but also enlightenment and morality.For the sake of enlightenment,he held up the banner of aesthetic education,replacing religion with aesthetic education in the hope that aesthetic education would open up the people's minds and realize self-reliance and self-improvement of the nation.Due to the difficulties of the times,his ambition has not been fulfilled,but his theories and practices are still beneficial to the construction of spiritual civilization in China nowadays.
