伍连德对中国现代医学教育的贡献和启示

摘　　要：伍连德是中国现代医学教育的先驱、公共卫生学家、现代防疫体制的奠基人。本研究从历史学视角出发,呈现近现代中国医学教育历史“图像”,探讨伍连德在特定历史背景下对中国现代医学教育改革的贡献和启示。本研究首先介绍其生平及主要医学教育活动,特别是他临危受命赶赴东北地区采用科学防疫措施成功抗击鼠疫。然后以清末民初时期“西医东渐”为背景,回顾近代医学教育在中国的发展状况,反映伍连德回国时,中国医学教育面临改革和转型的紧迫性和挑战。随后,总结他为中国现代医学教育做出的贡献,包括他在改革医学教育培养模式、创办现代医学院校以及传播现代医学观念方面所做的努力和贡献。最后,论述伍连德对中国医学教育现代化的启示,包括以国家发展需求为导向发挥医学教育的作用,紧跟时代步伐并创新医学人才培养模式,以及推动国际合作交流以提升医学院校办学水平和培养质量。Mr.Wu Lien Teh is a pioneer of modern medical education,a public health scientist,and the founder of the modern epidemic prevention system in China.This paper presents the historical image of medical education in China in modern and contemporary times,and discusses Mr.Wu Lien Teh’s contribution and inspiration to the reform of modern medical education in China under the specific historical background.In this paper,Mr.Wu Lien Teh’s life story and his major medical education activities,especially the event that he was entrusted with a mission at a critical and difficult moment to go to the Northeast and took scientific anti-epidemic measures to fight the pestis successfully,are firstly introduced.Then,with the background of“the arrival of Western medicine in China”in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,the development of modern medical education in China is reviewed,reflecting the urgency and challenge of reform and transformation faced by medical education in China when Mr.Wu Lien Teh came back.Afterwards,Mr.Wu Lien Teh’s contribution is summarized,including his efforts and dedication in reforming the cultivation mode of medical education,establishing modern medical colleges and universities and spreading modern medical concepts.At last,Mr.Wu Lien Teh’s inspiration to the modernization of medical education in China,including playing the role of medical education oriented by the need of national development,keeping pace with the times and innovating the cultivation mode of medical talents,as well as promoting international cooperation and exchange to improve the running level and cultivating quality of medical colleges and universities.
