经济类英语新闻标题的隐喻及其翻译研究

摘　　要：经济类新闻报道是跟踪国内外经济发展动态的重要途径之一。作为“新闻的眼睛”,新闻标题高度浓缩新闻主体、新闻事实等信息,言简意赅。英语新闻标题中蕴含丰富的隐喻现象,但鲜有学者尝试从认知的视角研究经济类英语新闻标题的隐喻及其翻译。以2022年4月至2023年3月China Daily网页版中经济中国Focus版块的295条经济类英语新闻标题为语料,基于概念隐喻理论解读经济类英语新闻标题的隐喻现象,归纳统计其隐喻主题词、表达式和频次,并提出直译隐喻,保留喻体;转化隐喻,调整喻体;隐喻省译,舍喻体译喻意3种翻译策略。The economic news coverage is one of the most important ways to keep track of the economic dynamics at home and abroad.As the eyes of news,the news headlines concisely and comprehensively give a highly condensed summary of the news,involving the news body and facts,etc.Abundant metaphorical phenomena can be found in English news headlines.However,few scholars ever tried to conduct researches on the metaphor and metaphorical translation of English economic news headlines from the cognitive perspective.By collecting 295 economic news headlines from the Business Focus of the website China daily,the metaphorical phenomena are studied based on Conceptual Metaphor Theory(CMT).The metaphorical keywords,expression and occurrence are calculated and generalized.Moreover,three translation strategies are put forward,including literal translation and retaining the target domain,changing the target domain,and the omission of the metaphor,or in other words,expressing the implied meaning directly without retaining the target domain.
