摘 要:“艺术家驻留”这一概念起源于西方,后逐渐变为制度化的项目。作为一种独特且富有成效的形式,艺术家驻留项目为艺术家提供了一个交流合作与艺术创新的平台,其发展过程不仅反映了艺术创作的多样性和文化交流的活跃性,也彰显了艺术家驻留项目在促进跨文化理解、推动艺术创新方面的独特价值。本文通过对艺术家驻留项目得以形成并发展的社会背景、文化土壤和理论基石的研究,以期助力优化驻留项目的运营模式,提高其社会影响力,并寻求更多的资源和支持来推动这一领域的持续发展。The concept of"artist residency"originated in the West and gradually became an institutional program.This paper probes into the origin and development of the artist residency program in the West,combs through the events that influenced and inspired it in different periods,and tries to reveal the socio-cultural motivations behind its institutionalization.As a unique and productive attempt,the artist residency program provides a platform for collaboration and artistic innovation.Its development not only reflects the diversity of artistic creation and the vitality of cultural exchange,but also highlights the unique value of the artist residency program in promoting cross-cultural understanding and artistic innovation.This article conducts research on the cultural background and theoretical foundation of its emergence and development of the artist residency program,so as to optimize the operation of the residency program in the future,improve its social influence,and seek for more resources and to promote the sustainable development of this field.
