摘 要:毒理学与流行病学在探讨环境暴露与健康和疾病的关系中发挥着关键作用。然而,它们都存在固有的局限性。毒理学与流行病学相互融合,可以更全面地探索暴露与健康效应的因果关系,定量评估暴露所致的风险。本研究回顾性分析了毒理学与流行病学各自的优势和局限性,以及既往研究中两学科结合的模式,并对未来的发展方向提出思考,旨在为相关研究提供理论依据和方法学框架。Toxicology and epidemiology are both critical in exploring the relationship of environmental expo-sure with health and disease.Despite their individual limitations,integrating these two disciplines can offer a more thorough exploration of the causal relationship between exposure and health effects,as well as quantitative assessment of risks caused by exposure.This study reviews the strengths and limitations of toxicology and epide-miology and the paradigms where both disciplines have been combined in previous research,and proposes future development,aiming to provide a theoretical foundation and methodological framework for relevant studies.
