摘 要:车载信息娱乐系统(IVIS)在出行中扮演着关键角色。文字作为IVIS界面设计的主要元素,亟需评估单行中文字数阈值以提升信息传输效率并降低驾驶风险。研究基于驾驶模拟实验,考量米勒短时记忆容量原则,运用单变量分析和综合评估模型评估IVIS界面单行中文字数的最佳阈值。综合评估结果表明,单行5个字作为短时记忆容量的最低限度,具有最佳的综合性能,足以传达核心信息,减轻驾驶员的认知负荷。未来设计应当考虑到人类短时记忆的认知限制,并在信息传递的完整性和驾驶认知负担之间找到平衡,以提升IVIS界面的易用性和交互安全性。In-vehicle infotainment system(IVIS)plays a key role in traveling.As text is the main element of IVIS interface design,evaluating the threshold of the number of Chinese characters in a single line in order to improve the efficiency of information transmission and reduce the risk of driving has become an urgent problem.In this study,based on driving simulation experiment and considering Miller's short-term memory capacity principle,the optimal threshold for the number of Chinese characters in a single line of the IVIS interface was investigated using univariate analysis of variance(ANOVA)and synthetic evaluation model.The results of the synthetic evaluation model showed that a single line of 5 characters,as the minimum limit of short-term memory capacity,demonstrates the best overall performance,sufficient to convey core information and reduce the cognitive load on drivers.Future designs should take into account the cognitive limitations of human short-term memory and find a balance between the integrity of information delivery and the cognitive burden of driving to enhance the ease of use and interactive safety of the IVIS interface.
