摘  要:“审美概念”由当代英美分析美学的代表人物西伯利提出,它对20世纪50年代以来的美学界产生了重要影响,此后分析美学的很多话题都与这一思想有关。西伯利认为“审美概念”没有成立的充分或必要条件,从这一点来说,它是无条件制约的;审美判断中,审美特性是通过对非审美特性的解释而获得,因而由非审美特性所决定,这就是审美随附性。西伯利的这些观点引起了分析美学界浓厚的兴趣,其他美学家,如比厄斯利和沃尔顿,在承认西伯利基本论断的基础上,又对审美特性的随附性进行了深化和细化。他们的观点汇聚在一起,共同推动了当代美学对审美特性和审美活动的认识。The concept of “aesthetic concepts” was put forward by Frank Sibley,a representative figure in contemporary Anglo-American analytic aesthetics,and has significantly influenced the field of aesthetics and many topics in analytical aesthetics have been related to this idea since the 1950s.Sibley argued that “aesthetic concepts” do not have sufficient or necessary conditions for their establishment,making them unconditionally dependent.In aesthetic judgment,aesthetic features are derived from the interpretation of non-aesthetic features and are thus determined by these non-aesthetic features,a notion referred to as aesthetic supervenience.Sibley's ideas have evoked considerable interest within the analytic aesthetics community.Other aestheticians,such as Beardsley and Walton,have acknowledged Sibley's basic assertions and further elaborated and refined the concept of aesthetic supervenience.Together,their viewpoints have advanced understanding about aesthetic features and aesthetic activities in contemporary aesthetics.
